Alan Rutherford – Non-Executive Director & Member of the Advisory Board

Alan is renowned as both a leading figure in media and a highly successful CEO. He is currently Chairman of the International Advertising Association and his experience and connections make him an excellent advisor to Sports Revolution. Previous roles include the CEO at Digitas, the Global Head of Media at Unilever and the Media Director at Ogilvy and Mather.

 

Ken Schofield – Advisory Board

Ken has earned a first class reputation as one of the leading rights holders and administrators in sport globally. He grew the European PGA Tour to be the largest tour globally over the period of 30 years as Executive Director. In 2006 Ken was appointed by the ECB to conduct an enquiry into the state of English cricket following the national side’s spectacular collapse in the Ashes Series that year. 19 of his report’s 20 recommendations were adopted which has seen a dramatic turnaround in the fortunes of the national game in 2010.


Trevor Watkins – Advisory Board

Recognised as one of the country’s leading advisers to the sports and entertainment industry Trevor’s core disciplines include regulatory, corporate finance, commercial and development advice. Trevor’s reputation and contacts in the sporting industry have proved invaluable to Sports Revolution. Highlights of Trevor’s experience include a partner at Clarke and Willmot, the Chairman of AFC Bournemouth, the Founding Director of Supporters Direct and working as a representative to the board of the Football League.


Greg Dyke – Advisory Board

Greg Dyke was Director General of the BBC from 2000 to 2004. During this time, he started four new digital television channels, five new digital radio channels, opened two new BBC regions, launched the BBC’s interactive television services and helped create Freeview.

Greg was also Chief Executive of Pearson Television – building it into the largest non-US independent production company in the world. Previously, he served as Group Chief Executive of LWT and guided the consortium which created Channel 5, becoming its first chairman.

A football enthusiast, Greg was a non-Executive Director of Manchester United Football Club (1997-99) and in 2006 became Chairman of Brentford Football Club.
