At the time of launch, Wii wanted to showcase their revolutionary wand technology, where better than at a live football match at half time. Fans were invited via in-stadia media to text for a chance to play the new console on pitch at half time. On the match day, posters instructed fans to remain in their seats at half time to watch the event which turned out to be amongst the most compelling and successful half time events we have executed to date.
