L’Oreal wanted to reach congregated groups of men – to get the product in their hands so they can realise the benefits. They wanted to use football clubs to improve brand credibility, challenge the perception that moisturising products are feminine and inappropriate for men. Promotional staff sampled L’Oreal Men Expert moisturising products to entire football stadiums, and fans were invited to text in to win VIP match tickets.
